As expected, Apple updated it’s products today. Today Apple released the new MacBooks and MacBook Pros, featuring the newest Intel processors, LED displays, and more:
MacBooks:

Macbook Pro 15″ 2.4GHz / 2GB RAM / 200GB 5400RPM / 256MB VRAM$2499. Macbook Pro 15″ 2.5GHz / 2GB RAM / 250GB 5400RPM / 512MB VRAM$2799. Macbook Pro 17″ 2.5GHz / 2GB RAM / 250GB 5400RPM / 512MB VRAM
The new MacBook Pros feature a MultiTouch trackpad, similar to the one on the new MacBook Air. I can’t tell if the Trackpad on the new MacBook Pro is larger than the previous generation, but comparing it to mine, it does look a little wider.

Apple is doing a good job, in my honest opinion of rolling out their products in a timely way. I am curious though, if the minor upgrades would be enough for the loyal consumers to swap. I feel that its more for potential new users though.

Well it looks to me like they prices are more affordable then expected. Which is good because I have been looking to get a mac for a while, however being able to keep current users happy is what is really needed at this in the apple world.

The word I’m getting from some people I know that work for retailers is that it is selling okay, but it is something they are told try to sell hard and market any way they can.
They believe it will pay off, said some people are convinced now that this is a good product and believe that they will get some new Apple consumers on this. I really hope it does well.

I think Apple computers are really of good quality and they are currently doing a great job of improving their products. This is just one of the proofs that they really are innovative and are capable to compete with other large players in the market.
