The Apple Inc’s most successful product to date- the iPhone has a new software version released. The absolutely new beta of Apple Inc.’s iPhone software v2.0 was released privately this Tuesday amidst announcements of subtle yet perceivable refining of the interface and numerous additions of quite a number of features which include novelties like searching the contact lists.
The iPhone, however popular a product has always been criticized to have a few basic flaws. The absolute inability to search the contacts book and the listings of the phone numbers has always been a prominent omission, especially because such provisions are normal and included on every other phone and are most noticeably available on the rival handsets.
Last month, at the iPhone Software Roadmap event organized by Apple Inc, they dropped subtle hints as regards the basic features finally showing up in its version 2 software for the iPhones in June when a slide was projected revealing a small magnifier icon near the search strip of the applet. Though it was indeed noticeable that the initial, first few external beta releases of the version 2 iPhone Software did not prominently display the feature as has been projected, the build 5A240d which was released this Tuesday does display the feature. In addition to this new innovation is the iCal meeting invites folder, which is accessible in the iPhone from the drawer icon right at the bottom of the iPhone’s iCal application which was a button which had been noticeably disabled in the earlier builds.
